I am currently studying Body Size variation along latitudinal gradient in House Sparrow (Passer domesticus) and Telomere dynamics behind it. I am interested in the idea of Evolution of body size over temporal and spatial gradient. I wish to uncover the possible underlying mechanism behind the selection of larger body size in higher latitude and smaller body size in lower latitude, in relation to the Bergmann’s rule, named after Carl Bergmann’s.
